The Touch Screen Layout is User Definable and as the system develops it will be possible to recall many layouts instantly. For example, screen layouts for General Mixing, ADR recording, Sound Effects Spotting, Music Composition, etc., can be recalled with a single touch of the dedicated screen menus on the left most edge of the screen. The action of recall, can itself also trigger a workstation Screen Set Recall, so that not only the Console reconfigures itself, but your workstation screens do as well!

We have combined patented ARC Technology with a huge 22 wide (16:9) touch screen to produce the most versatile and intuitive workstation controller yet. With super fast control of Logic 8 and Nuendo 4 via a single 100MBit Ethernet (Cat 5) Cable, Tango offers music and post production features not available on any thing else. Dedicated Controls
Each of the 8 channel strips feature dedicated controls, with high quality, well laid out components that engineers love to use. Each of the 8 channels has a dedicated HOLD button, 100mm Touch Sensitive Motorized Fader, Inject Touch Point, Mute Button, Solo Touch Point and Touch Sensitive Encoder (24 DPI with Detents and a Push Button). Each channel strip extends in to an in-line touch surface of virtual controls each dedicated to the task at hand.
Virtual Touchscreen controls
The screen graphics are modular, so that any parameter can be assigned any representation type. (Bar Graphs, Sliders, Buttons, Knobs, etc.). There are also dedicated displays for EQ graphs, Dynamics Graphs, Surround Panning and other unique controls. Smart AV will be updating the library of icons and controls periodically, and we are planning to make the graphics editable by the users at some stage in the future for total customisation.
channel overview display
The physical ARC has been replaced by MonARC, a scrolling screen based channel overview display, coupled with the touch screen selection of channels for control of up to 300 channels using the patented ARC Technology methodology. The MonARC display can be configured over multiple touch screens when the extn bay is fitted, or alternatively it can overlay workstation displays and picture displays. Extension Bay For those who need more faders a 12 fader interlocked extension bay becomes available in September 2008. This is fully integrated with the main console and the second touch screen can be operated as an extension of the in-line channel displays, or set to display a second screen such as editing, keyboard, etc. There are also 16 user definable macro keys.
